No more hungry moments while stuck in traffic!

Every time I'm in the metro to go to events or visit my mom, I always ready myself to face a stressful tiring, waiting game of Metro Manila traffic. It's even actually considered 'normal'. Ewww, sounds awful but its the real world, honey!

If you've ever been caught hungry in the middle of your commute going home, I have good news for you! You can put your snacking worries away as Fitbar and Grab team up together to bring to the Filipino commuters the “Grab-A-Fitbar” Project which aims to reach 100,000 passengers within Metro Manila.

This is such a nice project! For sure, passengers like me would be less grumpy. Hahaha!

Inspired by the deep struggles of the Filipino trying to find their way home via their local commute, the “Grab-A-Fitbar” project aims to alleviate the hunger pangs and snacking worries of those stuck in traffic of Manila’s urban jungle.

What to love about Fitbar?
  • Fitbar is nutritious cereal bar free from cholesterol, trans fat.
  • Contains only a small amount of calories. Much smaller calories compared to the other snacks.
  • One of Fitbar’s finest ingredient is oats, which is a good source of fiber.
  • Fitbar also contains Calcium, Vitamin A, B12, and C.
Definitely gonna enjoy the ride snacking with no worry!

“I am a loyal Grab user because I love the attitude of most Grab drivers. One time, I was stuck in heavy traffic for almost 2 hours. I was hungry already. Then I remembered I had Fitbar in my bag. I shared the Fitbar with the driver, and he was so thankful. So, it dawned on me, I wanted to share Fitbar to other drivers and passengers too, to relieve them from hunger during heavy traffic.”, shared Diana Aaron-Ong, Brand Manager of Fitbar.

“Grab provides a safe, convenient and affordable transportation option to move around the city,” stated Cindy Toh, Country Marketing Head of Grab. “We are honored to be partners with Fitbar Philippines to help our fellow citizens not only reach their destinations way but also do so with healthy snacks in hand.”

“Based on a research we recently conducted, we found out that most Filipinos experience intense hunger while driving or commuting,” explained Aaron-Ong. Filipinos are becoming more and more health conscious about their snack choices. They want tastier snacks, which may be unhealthy, thus leading to guilt afterwards. Aaron-Ong continues, “Fitbar can satisfy these cravings, minus the guilt. Fitbar provides ‘snacking with no worry’.”
